About Schilling Property
We take pride in our properties and believe that we understand what your needs are. In 1971, while still students at SIU, we bought our first properties to use as rentals. As the inventory has changed and grown through the years, we have always strived to provide good value for the money and have also added residential and commercial real estate sales to our company.
We are always available to meet with you to discuss any issues you may have and are always happy to hear how pleased you are with your home! Our support staff at Schilling Properties is eager to assist with any needs and includes our office manager to accept your application and show you appropriate properties, our maintenance crew to perform minor repairs and outside clean up, while any major repairs will be handled by subcontractors.

Step 1. Browse availability or pick up a list of properties at our office. Showings are from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (618) 549-0895
Step 2. Fill out an application, there is no fee!
Step 3. Sign the lease.
Once your application has been approved, our office will notify you. At this time an appointment should be made to sign your lease. This appointment usually takes 15-20 minutes.
We allow small pets under 35 pounds!
Please note there will be a $100/mo. charge for dogs and a $50/mo. charge for cats.
We require a security deposit equal to a month’s rent.
Rent is due on the first of the month.
